Comments:

Lake George has long had a well deserved reputation as a good Largemouth Bass lake. Good water quality and abundant cover provide great opportunities for bass anglers. Sunfish are common, but small. Northern Pike are abundant, and an occasional larger fish is encountered by anglers. The abundance of shallow, sandy shoreline and clear water would make this a good choice for those anglers who like to spear from a darkhouse in the winter.
