Comments:
Johanna is a very popular recreational boating lake. Anglers can be hampered by competition with other boaters and dense vegetation growth at certain times of the year. Walleye are present, but can be difficult to catch. This lake has been one of the more successful Tiger Muskie lakes in the area. Bluegill are very common, but are of average size. Anglers looking for a unique fish to catch can try targeting Bowfin (also called dogfish) in Johanna where large individuals have been observed.
