Location:
This lake is located in the northwest corner of the intersection of Long Lake Road and I-694.
Species Present:
Walleye: lower than average abundance, smaller than average size.
Northern Pike: lower than average abundance, average size.
Bluegill: lower than average abundance, average size.
Bullhead species: higher than average abundance, smaller than average size.
Boat Access:
There is no access to this lake.
Shore Fishing:
Anglers can fish from shore off the bike path that runs between the south shore of the lake and the sound barrier to I-694. Access is very limited and fishing may be affected by overhanging trees.
Management Plans:
No fish management is planned at this time.
Comments:
Pike Lake is subject to winterkill on a regular basis. The fish population is dominated by Common Carp and small Bullheads. Game fish present are likely emigrants from adjacent Long Lake.
