Management Plans:
- Fisheries standard lake survey in 2021.
- Stock 63,000 Walleye fry annually.
- Monitor winter oxygen level as needed; operation of winter aeration device by the City of Columbia Heights.
Comments:
This had suffered from occasional winterkills until the lake 1990's when a winter aeration system was installed. The access is limited and undoubtedly effects fishing effort. The lake has poor water quality that may also deter some anglers.
