Brook Trout: low abundance, small size (no trout were sampled in the last assessment).
Accessibility:
To find this stream, turn north off Sibley Memorial Highway at Silver Bell Road. Follow Silver Bell Road to Nichols Road (old Cedar Ave.) Go north on Nichols until you cross the railroad tracks. Park on Nichols Road and walk north and east along the railroad tracks. The first stream that crosses under the railroad tracks is Kennaly's Creek.
It should be noted that railroad tracks are private property. Anglers walking on the tracks or in the right-of-way would be guilty of criminal trespass.
Management Plans:
- Re-survey/population assessment as needed.
Comments:
This is a very small stream (less than 2 feet wide) with low flows as a result of de-watering at the adjacent sewage treatment facility. A few small brook trout may be present, but the population is not significant enough to warrant fishing. No trout were sampled in the last assessment.
