Customers have the option to purchase most license products in person at a license agent, online at the new DNR licensing website, or by downloading the new MN DNR Licensing mobile application.
Customers also have convenient options to receive and store license products:
Paper – Licenses may be printed on standard paper, either at license agent locations or at home after an online purchase.
Email – Customers who provide an email address can have a digital version of their license emailed to them as a PDF. This digital license will suffice during a license check in the field.
Mobile app – Licenses can be stored digitally in the mobile app, which will suffice during a license check in the field. Cellular data or Wi-Fi will be needed to download the app, log in and purchase a license, but not to display the license once logged in.
