Alborn-Pengilly Railroad Trail

This 39-mile trail follows an old abandoned railroad grade between the cities of Pengilly and Alborn in northeast Minnesota. Traveling through wooded bogs and upload forests, riders cross old railroad trestles that offer scenic views of the streams and rivers below. The flat grade and little terrain variation are ideal for beginners. This trail is provided by the Township of Greenway and maintained by the Range Riders ATV Club.

When open

Starting May 10th the Whiteface River Bridge 1 mile southeast of Meadowlands will be undergoing repair work on the concrete abutments. Trail closures will be posted at that site and ATV traffic may need to detour around that section of trail using public roads. Please follow the signs and instructions posted on the ground.

Normal season:
5/1 to 11/30 (depending on trail conditions)
