Catch the big one |
 Drop a line and try your luck ice fishing on Signalness (Mountain) Lake. The lake is filled with walleye, bass, northern pike, perch, crappies and sunfish. As an added bonus, Minnesota residents do not need a fishing license to fish in Glacial Lakes State Park (and many other Minnesota state parks). Remember: Ice Safety! |

Stay overnight |
 This winter, pack the family up for a new adventure–camp out in a camper cabin. Glacial Lakes State Park has two camper cabins available daily from April through October, and four more camper cabins that are available Thursday through Sunday in the winter and daily the rest of the year. Each of the year-round camper cabins has heat and electricity, perfect for keeping those chilly nights outside. In the morning, grab your snowshoes and pop right onto the trails located nearby. Bunk beds and mattresses are provided–just bring your own sleeping bags or blankets.

Plan your summer fun |
 Plan a trip back to Glacial Lakes State Park in the warmer months for a whole new experience. The paved trail through the park travels five miles into the town of Starbuck, perfect for a bike ride. Visit the park office to rent a row boat, canoe, kayak or stand-up paddleboard to explore the park from the water. |
