High water levels statewide
Many of Minnesota's southern, northern and central rivers are experiencing very high water levels, where paddling is considered dangerous and is not recommended. Always check river gage levels, scout ahead and plan properly for your experience level.
Minnesota has 35 state water trails with over 4,500 miles of terrific paddling! Whether you want to kayak, canoe, or stay at a campsite on the river, you'll find a place to paddle here.
