STAFF NOTES:
RTO Brett Oberg (SW Metro) continued working the firearms deer season this week in southwestern Minnesota. Oberg also spent time checking pheasant hunters as a lot of birds were observed in the area. RTO Dave Schottenbauer (NE MN) primarily assisted other officers working deer-hunting activity. Time was spent in training and working with instructors as well.
RTO Joseph Stattelman (NW MN) spent the week working the firearms deer season and assisting area officers with calls and case work. A firearms safety instructor clinic has been scheduled for Jan. 8 in Alexandria. Calls for safety classes and field days were handled.
RTO Amber Ladd (North Metro) continued work for the firearms deer season and fielded several inquiries. Ladd worked on background investigations for potential instructors and coordinated safety classes.
Recreational Vehicle Coordinator Bruce Lawrence worked on Trail Ambassador program policy changes and training needs.
