Comments: Bennett is great for shore fishing. The fishing pier was recently replaced with a new one that includes lowered rail sections making it easier for children to fish. A paved trail that goes around the entire lake can take you to multiple shore fishing sites. In July and August, fish the south side, where trees shade the water.  Good numbers of Northern Pike, and bluegill were present in last assessment (2011).  Bennet Lake is stocked regularly with Walleye fingerlings, Channel Catfish yearlings, and large adult Bluegills. A lake survey was conducted in June, 2011.
