The trail(s):
The park is situated along the wooded Redwood River valley with over 170 feet of elevation change. The snowmobile trail primarily follows the bluff line on the top of the valley. Ski trails are not groomed, but you may blaze your own trail anywhere in the park that isn't groomed for another use. Deer are most abundant during winter months.
You can snowshoe anywhere in Minnesota's state parks and recreation areas, except on trails that are specifically groomed for another activity, such as skiing or snowmobiling.
Facilities:
- There is a warming house located in the park at the South Picnic Area.
- Ski passes are not required at the park.
- Park has snowshoes for rent. XC Ski Rentals may be available in Marshall.
- Campgrounds are closed for the winter.
