Exploring relationships with natural resources & nature
Wildlife managers need to know how and why people value natural resources. That's why the DNR's wildlife section develops, conducts and analyzes stakeholder surveys. The information gathered from citizens, hunters and other stakeholders allows us to consider social and ecological aspects and factor them in to our natural resource management decisions.
Deer & deer management
Since 2000, extensive survey research on deer hunters and other stakeholders has been collected and considered in deer management decisions.
