This report and data centers around the compilation of GIS geochemistry datasets from both the MN DNR lake and stream sediment survey & the U.S. Steel lake and stream sediment collection. The data was spatially digitized from MN DNR lake sediment survey reports and a set of 1970's vintage lake sediment survey maps that were donated to MN DNR by RGGS Lands and Minerals, Inc. as part of the U.S. Steel Collection. The data represent reconnaissance scale sediment sampling, and, in some areas, higher density sampling of reconnaissance anomalies.
